Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 classes provide children with a strong foundation of music skills in an engaging group learning environment. Through movement activities, games, stories, and ensemble play, they learn how to read and compose with music notation, play individually and within ensembles on a variety of instruments (like the glockenspiel!), experience multiple music genres, and much more! Self-confidence, teamwork, and fine and gross motor skillss, are just some of the developmental areas a Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 experience propels.
Materials include glockenspiel instrument, backpack, worksheets, and streaming of music, online books, and activities.
This Kit includes: Fiddlesticks, Glockenspiel with mallets, Glockenspiel Book, and Game Pieces Packs in a Kindermusik backpack. Designs may vary.

Melissa Marcum owned her own dance studio in Huntington, WV for sixteen years. Now retired from dance, she’s found Kindermusik to be her new love. Melissa is a natural with children and making them feel welcome. Her bubbly personality is contagious and she brings joy to her classroom.
