Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.
Lainey Parker is a fully accredited Kindermusik educator with two degrees in Vocal Performance. Combining her professional training with a deep love for early childhood education, Lainey is passionate about fostering meaningful connections through music. As a new mom herself, she brings a special understanding of the bond between caregiver and child, and she is dedicated to upholding Kindermusik’s mission of musical excellence, joy, and togetherness in every class she teaches.
Allegro Music School is dedicated to offering high quality music instruction on multiple instruments to students of all ages in the Lynchburg area. In every Kindermusik class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills. There is parking for Allegro Music School on Rivermont Ave, the side street (Marshall St.) or in the parking lot behind the church. Facing the church we are the wing to the left. For Kindermusik, enter the center breezeway! Follow the signs!
If a normal class is missed, families are welcome to attend another class for their age group. Registration for makeup classes must be done online through the family Kindermusik portal. Tuition covers weekly classes and access to all Kindermusik At Home curriculum, accessed through the Kindermusik account. No refunds are given.
