2- and 3-year-olds have tons of energy and their own ideas. Level 2 classes are all about exploring creativity and enhancing cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play, while grownups learn how to help unpack big emotions with music.

Have a very independent toddler? Want them to be more independent? Level 2 classes give toddlers the opportunity to express their own ideas and creativity. They’ll learn new vocabulary, play instruments, and do things “their own way,” while making cognitive strides.
Growing up in Colorado, Cheryl played clarinet and oboe throughout high school and sang in choirs and musical theater productions. Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion. While in college, she traveled internationally with collegiate singing ensembles, and began playing the piano. She received her Masters in Counseling from the University of Missouri-KC and worked for 10 years as a crisis intervention counselor in an ICU in Kansas City. When her three children were young, she enrolled them in Kindermusik, and she loved every chance to share the joy of music with them as they engaged in the class activities. In 1998, Cheryl became a Licensed Kindermusik Educator, and ever since, has enriched the lives of babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young children and the adults who love them.
Kindermusik by Cheryl is currently in Anderson Township, but will be moving to 468 Old State Rte 74 in Union Township just a few miles further north as of June 1, 2025. Our Anderson location at 7120 Dunn Road will serve clients through mid May. We look forward to welcoming you in Anderson until then, but are excited about our new space beginning this summer! Our experienced educators teach classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young children up to age 6, and we look forward to sharing the joy of music of music with you and your child. Our goal is to create a musical village of support, encouragement and growth as you join with us in activities that will heighten creativity and promote your child's healthy development.
