Did you know that preschoolers have a natural love of music? Level 3 classes use music to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, and self-control.
Classes run the week of Sept. 12- Dec. 12 for fall semester (12 weeks). You can sign up for autopay and pay per unit or email us at info@musicalmeinokc.com if you would like to pay upfront for the semester and receive a $20 discount. The discounted price is $252. We offer unlimited makeups! Studio makeups will be pending availability in the class you wish to attend and online make up classes are always available. The $50 registration fee covers a Kindermusik bag and 5-6 instruments/props that each student gets to keep. We encourage you to bring your bag of instruments to class every week but if you forget them we will always have extras!
Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.
Ms. Alyssa's desire to teach music began when she was just a child. In middle school, her academic goal was to go to Oklahoma Baptist University and major in music education. Eight years later she achieved that goal and graduated in the spring of 2005 with a Bachelor's in Music Education (K-12). Her love for children took her immediately to an elementary school in the Oklahoma City metro area where she had the privilege of teaching 600+ children each week. With children as her focus, Alyssa decided in 2010 it was time to focus on her new daughter, Lydia, and children her age. Kindermusik has become Alyssa's avenue for teaching her children, and other little ones how to love music and love life. Ms. Alyssa has fully embraced teaching littles and loves offering summer camps for older kids as well. She loves connecting with children and parents through music and helping each child discover his or her gifts and talents, using music as a catalyst.
