Miss Kirby was born and raised in Spearfish, SD before relocating to Delano, MN with her family. With South Dakota running deep in her roots, she returned for college at South Dakota State University (Go Jacks!). Kirby studied Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After teaching third grade and Kindergarten for five years in Spearfish and Harrisburg, she left the classroom to stay home when her daughter was born. Kirby and her daughter, Brynn, joined the Foundations Class at 10 months old. This instantly started the love and appreciation for all things Kindermusik! The opportunities for children to learn and develop through music and movement and the relationships created between families led Miss Kirby to pursue becoming a Kindermusik educator. Miss Kirby is excited to share her love for music, learning, and early childhood development with your children and families!
