Children ages 5-7.

This music class is designed to prepare young school-aged children for private instrument instruction, and for continued success in their school experience. Children are dropped off by caregivers and joined by them at the end of each 60 minute class for the last 5-10 minutes. There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee and a full year commitment. There are no make up options for this class when missed due to the unique and specialized structure and curriculum. If cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher emergency, we will start the following week with the missed class content and make up a class at the end of the semester.

Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 classes provide children with a strong foundation of music skills in an engaging group learning environment. Through movement activities, games, stories, and ensemble play, they learn how to read and compose with music notation, play individually and within ensembles on a variety of instruments (like the glockenspiel!), experience multiple music genres, and much more! Self-confidence, teamwork, and fine and gross motor skillss, are just some of the developmental areas a Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 experience propels.
