2- and 3-year-olds have tons of energy and their own ideas. Level 2 classes are all about exploring creativity and enhancing cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play, while grownups learn how to help unpack big emotions with music.
Have a very independent toddler? Want them to be more independent? Level 2 classes give toddlers the opportunity to express their own ideas and creativity. They’ll learn new vocabulary, play instruments, and do things “their own way,” while making cognitive strides.

Michele loves Kindermusik very deeply, because of the great joy it brings to others and to herself. She feels it is one of the very best ways available to share the wonderful gift of music with young children. Michele has been teaching Kindermusik since 1998, and with every passing year her passion grows for young families and mentoring young moms. Loving her families is a 24/7 dedication for Michele. As a Top Program owner and educator, she hopes business values of caring, connecting, and creating shine through her life and classroom teaching. She holds degrees in Piano Performance and Music Education and has a prolific background that includes teaching music in public and private schools, teaching piano lessons, directing church choirs, and teaching Kindermusik. When not in the classroom, Michele is spending time with her husband, her adult sons, and daughter-in-law. From Michele: "I could never do what I do without the support and love of my beloved family. I am thrilled and honored to have a strong team of educators to touch more families in Birmingham with the gift of Kindermusik!"
Kindermusik with Michele & Friends continues to be rated Top Program from Kindermusik International. For 7 years, we have been ranked in the top 5% of all Kindermusik programs around the world. In 2022, we ranked in the top 1%! This is a huge accomplishment for our educators and for our families. We are located in Dawson Music Academy and enjoy the partnership with this fabulous music school. Michele is blessed to have Haley Rhudy and Michael Whitner on her team to spread the joy of Kindermusik throughout the city of Birmingham.
