Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Melissa Overton, Owner/Educator, is a native of Omaha and returned to the area in 2015 after living in St. Louis for 12 years with her husband and daughter. She received her Bachelor's in Music and Masters in Education and has been thrilled to blend both of these passions as an Accredited Kindermusik Educator since 2006. Melissa has performed with the Dayton Opera Chorus, the Rose Blumkin Theater Company, the University of Dayton Chorale and Chamber Choir, as well as multiple community theater companies. As a previous elementary teacher, seasoned musician, and advocate for early childhood education, Melissa is honored to share the joy of Kindermusik with families in her classes!
