Welcome to Up in the Sky
Up, up, and away! In this unit, we’ll explore all the things that find their home in the sky through songs, instruments, vocal play, and listening activities. Get ready to fly kites, meet Mister Robin, pretend to be clouds, and reach for the stars. There’s so much fun and learning Up in the Sky!
Have a very independent toddler? Want them to be more independent? Level 2 classes give toddlers the opportunity to express their own ideas and creativity. They’ll learn new vocabulary, play instruments, and do things “their own way,” while making cognitive strides.
I am a Texas certified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree, from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Reading specialization. In addition, I received a Master of Education degree from the University of Texas Pan American, and I am a Reading Specialist. I have 23 years of teaching experience with pre-school through middle school-aged children. I was licensed by Kindermusik International in 2003 and am trained and certified to teach all levels of the Kindermusik curriculum. Furthermore, I am a member of the Kindermusik Educators Association. Since my childhood, I have been involved in my church choir as a vocalist and instrumentalist. I also enjoy playing the guitar for fun, and sharing my love of music with my own children. Music has always been part of my life and I am thrilled to share it with the children of the Rio Grande Valley.
