Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Hi! After teaching elementary music in public schools for 30 years, I am thrilled to be teaching Kindermusik at Englewood Baptist Church. I received my Assoc. of Arts degree at Jackson State Com. College, my Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Ed. at The University of TN at Martin, and Orff Certification at the University of Memphis. My husband, David is a retired firefighter for the City of Jackson. We have two grown children, Tim and Jessica, daughter-in-law Brigitte and son-in-law, Jeremiah. I am blessed to have my grandchildren Samuel and Shelby in my Kindermusik classes. I enjoy playing with our dogs, Ivy, Ziggy, and Scooter.
Englewood Baptist Church is located on N. Highland Ave. south of Interstate 40. Kindermusik classes meet in room PS115. Enter at the main church entrance north portico. The gentleman at the welcome desk will be glad to direct you to the Preschool hall where our room is located.
Cost is $50 per month. There is no charge for siblings in the same class.
