Beep! Beep! Time to hit the road with the adventurous Flugelhorn family (including their silly dog, Randolph). We’ll take a ride in their trusty vehicle, Van Go, and explore new songs, activities, and more at each stop. From the beach to the campsite to the fair, you’ll sing and dance through this energetic adventure and help those flighty Flugelhorns keep up with all their belongings! Parents and younger sibs join in the last 15 minutes.
Need something for the whole family? Mixed Age classes are designed for little ones at different developmental levels to make music together. Families build connection, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
For 3.5--6 year olds. COST includes FIVE 50-minute classes plus materials: On The Road Story/Activity book, wooden frog guiro instrument, & access to digital music and books. Any sibs receive own frog guiro as well. (NO classes week of June 30-July 5.) Adults and any sibs join in for last 15 minutes. FRIEND DISCOUNT: Enroll a friend (who is new to our program) and BOTH of you get $5 off of registration. They don't have to be in the same class/age. If you enroll a 2nd CHILD into a DIFFERENT age class--the 2nd child will receive a $15 discount. Contact Melynda for discount. If you need to arrange fees into 3 payments, contact Melynda as well.
Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Debbie Young has been a Kindermusik owner and educator since 1998! 22 years in Madison, Wisconsin as 'KINDERMUSIK WITH DEBBIE' where she taught over 5,000 students, and then opened up 'JOYFUL SOUND STUDIO' in Leander, Texas Fall 2021. She absolutely LOVES her job and it shows. Debbie has found Kindermusik teaching a wonderful opportunity to combine her love of children with her love of music. She lives with her husband Bob and has four grown children and ten grandchildren who constantly delight her and keep her young at heart. Debbie has been singing solo and with groups since the age of 8. She privately studied voice and piano for over 12 years. She has worked with children in a variety of settings over the past 40 years, including pre-school co-op teacher and serving as area president of her church's children's and youth programs in south central Wisconsin for nine of those years.

With this enrollment, I release any and all rights and claims for damages against Joyful Sound Studio and its staff or Leander Presbyterian Church in the unlikely event of injury sustained by myself or my child(ren) during the course of or as a result of this musical activity, and allow you to send me class-related emails. You have my permission to use un-named photographs or video of my child from class. I also understand that: If I need to change my child's class day and time, I may contact you at any time. Otherwise, I'll stay enrolled in the same class from September to May during the school year. Should I need to withdraw before the start of classes, I understand that my registration payment is nonrefundable and will instead be put as a credit on my account for a future enrollment. Should I need to withdraw after classes begin, my enrollment may be cancelled by providing 30 days written notice (must include a 2-month minimum enrollment). I will still be responsible for the full cost of my child's home materials received, as well as music access and tuition for the time I am officially enrolled (including during the 30 days after notice is given). I understand that this may result in either a debit or a credit based on what has been paid so far towards my school-year total. SCHOOL YEAR: I understand that Joyful Sound studio is not 'pay by the month' and that the TOTAL cost of 30 classes + Home Materials cost has been added together. The Grand Total has been divided into 9 equal installments. If I have registered partway into the year, my 1st payment has been adjusted accordingly to reflect the missed classes. SUMMER PROGRAMS: 30 days written notice if I need to withdraw before the end of the summer term. I will still be responsible for the full cost of my child's home materials.
