Need something for the whole family? Mixed Age classes are designed for little ones at different developmental levels to make music together. Families build connection, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
Each child attending the class must be registered. We are on a monthly subscription format. Monthly tuition comes out on the 1st of the month. To un-enroll, please email the office at least one week before the next month.
Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Emilie grew up in a musical home playing the piano since first grade and also singing, and as she grew older she became more involved in music, singing in high school, college and adult choirs in both school and church. Emilie also loves children. Ever since she was young she had a desire to work with children in some way. This desire led her to pursue a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Early Childhood. After college she was a full-time nanny for 3 years through which she was introduced to the wonderful Kindermusik program when she took the children she cared for to their Kindermusik classes. At that time the desire began to grow to become a Licensed Kindermusik Educator. Emilie started Kindermusik with Emilie in October of 2010 and began with just 7 children. By 2023 Kindermusik with Emilie has over 300 children enrolled in her program and has four other licensed Kindermusik Educators who teach classes for her program. Her studio has also grown into a full-blown music school, offering private music lessons in piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, & cello instruments, with a team of 9 private lesson teachers. As a trained and licensed Kindermusik Educator, Emilie loves sharing her love of music with children and their families through the amazing Kindermusik program. Emilie and her husband Daniel love living in Kenosha with their 8 year old daughter, 7 year old son, and their Westie, Benny.
We are so excited to be offering classes at our 3rd location and this one is for our friends in western Kenosha County at Westosha Lakes Church! Westosha Lakes Church is right off Highway 50 and has a large parking lot. The classroom entrance is directly by the parking lot with a ramp for strollers if needed. For Kindermusik classes, charges come out on the 1st of each month for however long you remain enrolled. If you enroll halfway through the month your first month's charge will be prorated. For Kindermusik Playdates, Parent's Night Out Events, special summer classes or camps, or other special one-time classes, charges come out immediately upon enrolling. *When you enroll in a class, you reserve a spot for your family, a spot that we cannot give to another family. Because of that, we do not refund if you miss classes. However, you are welcome to schedule a makeup class anytime as long as you are still enrolled in classes. *A $40 annual enrollment fee is charged September 1st or immediately upon enrolling if after September 1st.
Kindermusik with Emilie is a subscription-based enrollment. Once enrolled in a baby, toddler, preschool, or mixed age class, you continue to stay enrolled unless you notify us in writing that you are withdrawing from the program. Withdrawal notice must be given at least one week before the start of a new month otherwise charges will come out on the 1st of the next month. For our school-year "Kindermusik Musician" classes for 5-7 year olds, we ask that you commit to the entIre school year.
*Kindermusik Playdates & Parent's Night Out Events are the exception to this and are one-time classes/events
