Musician Year 2 Classes are for children who have completed Musicians Year 1 classes. These classes are only offered during the school year and we ask families to commit to both semesters of the entire school year, September to May. Each week builds upon the previous week, therefore we do not let new students into these classes after the first 5 weeks of the semester.
The first year was just the beginning! In the second and final year of Kindermusik Musicians, children further develop their foundational music skills while experiencing music, games, and stories from all around the world. The skills they develop in this class to read, play, create, and analyze music enhances their cognitive, motor, language, and social development. All of these enhancements work together to support future musical and academic learning experiences, and success in all areas of life.An immediate charge of $80 will come out upon enrollment which will cover the cost of home materials for Semester 1 including homework materials and dulcimer. A second $60 materials charge will come out in January to cover the cost of home materials for Semester 2 including homework materials and recorder. Monthly tuition charges come out on the 1st of each month, September through May.
This Kit includes: Recorder in small bag. Year 2 Book, and Year 2 Game Pieces Packs in a Kindermusik purple bag. It also includes a dulcimer with its own storage bag, note sticket sheet, 4" wooden noter, pick, and assembly instructions. Designs may vary.
Ready to take instrument exploration up a notch? Kindermusik Musicians classes teach children how to use musical notation to play instruments like the recorder and glockenspiel, and hone in on critical milestones to boost school readiness and performance.

Emilie grew up in a musical home playing the piano since first grade and also singing, and as she grew older she became more involved in music, singing in high school, college and adult choirs in both school and church. Emilie also loves children. Ever since she was young she had a desire to work with children in some way. This desire led her to pursue a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Early Childhood. After college she was a full-time nanny for 3 years through which she was introduced to the wonderful Kindermusik program when she took the children she cared for to their Kindermusik classes. At that time the desire began to grow to become a Licensed Kindermusik Educator. Emilie started Kindermusik with Emilie in October of 2010 and began with just 7 children. By 2023 Kindermusik with Emilie has over 300 children enrolled in her program and has four other licensed Kindermusik Educators who teach classes for her program. Her studio has also grown into a full-blown music school, offering private music lessons in piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, & cello instruments, with a team of 9 private lesson teachers. As a trained and licensed Kindermusik Educator, Emilie loves sharing her love of music with children and their families through the amazing Kindermusik program. Emilie and her husband Daniel love living in Kenosha with their 8 year old daughter, 7 year old son, and their Westie, Benny.
