Kindermusik Musicians Year 2

The first year was just the beginning! In the second and final year of Kindermusik Musicians, children further develop their foundational music skills while experiencing music, games, and stories from all around the world. The skills they develop in this class to read, play, create, and analyze music enhances their cognitive, motor, language, and social development. All of these enhancements work together to support future musical and academic learning experiences, and success in all areas of life.

Kindermusik Musicians Year 2

Ready to take instrument exploration up a notch? Kindermusik Musicians classes teach children how to use musical notation to play instruments like the recorder and glockenspiel, and hone in on critical milestones to boost school readiness and performance.

About Studio / Teacher

Kathryn Morrison

Kathy Morrison is the owner and director of Kathy's Music. Her Kindermusik program has been recognized as a Top Program each year from 2006-2007 through our current school year by Kindermusik International. The Top Programs represents the top 1 percent of Kindermusik educators in their class for building a truly expansive program and proving masterful in reaching a large number of families with the Kindermusik experience. Now celebrating 20 years as the owner of Kathy's Music (2004-2024), Kathy is an accredited Kindermusik Educator. Now in her 25th year of teaching, Kathy is building her music school with locations in Mt. Lebanon, McMurray, and Squirrel Hill. Kathy served on the The Partnership of Kindermusik Educators Advisory Board and co-authored several Kindermusik curricula units including Peekaboo I Love You Summer Camp, ABC Music & Me, Zoo Train, and all 4 units of Family Time. She also served as the lead revision author for the Laugh & Learn curricula.
