This class is for students under 5 yrs old. It is perfect for siblings! Babies under 8 months old are free if they have an older sibling enrolled.
Need something for the whole family? Mixed Age classes are designed for little ones at different developmental levels to make music together. Families build connection, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
Classes run the first 4 weeks in July. This class is for 5 and under. It is great for sibling sets! Babies under 8 months are FREE in this class if they have an older sibling participating. We offer unlimited makeups as long as you are enrolled! Studio makeups will be pending availability in the class you wish to attend. The New Student $50 registration fee covers a Kindermusik bag and 6-7 instruments/props that each student gets to keep + a Kindermusik t-shirt. We encourage you to bring your bag of instruments to class every week but if you forget them we will always have extras! *Please note that for summer classes we waive the $50 registration fee and you can borrow our instruments. If you plan on continuing in the fall, or wish to purchase the Kindermusik bag, please email us at info@musicalmeinokc.com pay the $50.
Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Ms. Alyssa's desire to teach music began when she was just a child. In middle school, her academic goal was to go to Oklahoma Baptist University and major in music education. Eight years later she achieved that goal and graduated in the spring of 2005 with a Bachelor's in Music Education (K-12). Her love for children took her immediately to an elementary school in the Oklahoma City metro area where she had the privilege of teaching 600+ children each week. With children as her focus, Alyssa decided in 2010 it was time to focus on her new daughter, Lydia, and children her age. Kindermusik has become Alyssa's avenue for teaching her children, and other little ones how to love music and love life. Ms. Alyssa has fully embraced teaching littles and loves offering summer camps for older kids as well. She loves connecting with children and parents through music and helping each child discover his or her gifts and talents, using music as a catalyst.
Founded in 2010 as Kindermusik at Crossings, we are now growing in numbers and locations and are Musical Me in OKC! Join us for musical fun and growing during the school year for Newborns-7 yr olds and summer camps for 5-12 yr olds! We are located in the Multi Activity Center (MAC) at Mitch Park, right next to the Edmond YMCA.

The Multi Activity Center (MAC) at Mitch Park 2733 Marilyn Williams Drive Edmond, OK 73033 We are located in the Multi Activity Center (MAC) right next to the YMCA. You you want to enter in the doors with the Edmond Parks and Rec sign out front which are the doors closest to the YMCA. This is to avoid going through the assisted living center which is attached to the MAC. Check in with the receptionist and sign the Edmond Parks and Rec waiver. Come down the hall to Room D where Ms. Alyssa will be waiting for you!
