Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 classes provide children with a strong foundation of music skills in an engaging group learning environment. Through movement activities, games, stories, and ensemble play, they learn how to read and compose with music notation, play individually and within ensembles on a variety of instruments (like the glockenspiel!), experience multiple music genres, and much more! Self-confidence, teamwork, and fine and gross motor skillss, are just some of the developmental areas a Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 experience propels.

Mary brings together a rich early childhood background with a life-long love of music in her 25 years of teaching Kindermusik. As a Montessori and music educator in elementary schools, Mary has taught music to children ages 0-12 years. Mary spent many years on the faculty of Kindermusik International helping train new educators. Mary is also the happy mother of four children, two of whom are Kindermusik graduates. She loves to see children blossom through the joys of Kindermusik!
In every Kindermusik class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills. Our approach to early childhood education and award-winning, research-based, and developmentally appropriate curricula prime children for success in school and in life.
Refunds will be granted if parent withdraws from class two prior to class starting, or in exceptional circumstances.
