What should a music class for young toddlers look like?
More than singing and playing instruments. Kindermusik Level 1 classes include those things, along with opportunities for toddlers to explore new movement and language skills through dance, creative movement, echo songs, and more.

Give your little one extra confidence to move, groove, and speak! Level 1 classes allow young toddlers to explore new movements, objects, and words, while learning basic music concepts. Families also discover how to create better daily routines with music.

Level Description

Kindermusik Level 1

Kindermusik Level 1 classes give young toddlers room to explore! This special group experience gives toddlers a chance to learn new movement and language skills through dance, creative movement, echo songs, and more.

Developmental Benefits

Body Awareness
As toddlers move in different ways, they begin to understand their own bodies and develop self-control of movement.
Gross- and Fine-Motor Skills
Toddlers begin to develop basic gross-motor skills and coordination, as well as better control over fine-motor movement.
Math and Language Fundamentals
Toddlers begin to recognize patterns in music and have an increased sense of steady beat, both skills linked to math and language.

🎶 Meet Miss Mary! 🌟 A music lover, former teacher, and now the owner of Prelude Music Studio. 👩‍🏫 Miss Mary's journey with Kindermusik began as a parent when her daughter Emmeline joined at just 3 weeks old. After a year of witnessing the magic, she fell head over heels for our playful and engaging program, inspiring her to become one of our fantastic educators. 🎤 From singing in the choir since first grade to her love for board games, family time, and crafting, Miss Mary is not just a teacher; she's a vibrant part of our musical family. 🎨👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

Prelude Music Studio

You are invited to enjoy a playful and enriching experience with your child! Through music and movement, your family will explore social/emotional skills, cognitive development, language & literacy, fine and whole body movement, and other early childhood competencies. We also offer other music classes, preschool services, birthday party plans, and beginning piano lessons.
