Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.
$75 per month for 1 child/$55 for each sibling- (6 months-6 yrs) covers 4 classes, digital materials, one CD, and photos emailed to you. One time registration fee of $35 per child covers the cost of your own instrument bundle for you to keep.
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.
Ellen has been teaching Kindermusik since March of 2004. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Missouri State University. After teaching preschool for several years, she combined her love of children along with her music studies and Kindermusik was the answer. In 2008, Kindermusik with Ellen, reached "Maestro" status, ranking Miss Ellen in the top 5% of educators WORLDWIDE!
Summer classes and playdates will begin May 22, 2024. Some will be held at local parks, in the pavilion when rainy. Bring a blanket for your family to sit upon. The four week classes, on June 24/25 through July 15/16, meeting once per week will be held in my home studio. Payment for all sessions will be due on the playdate or the first day of the session, by cash or check. Register by email or call/text 417-343-8813 to reserve your spot. At least three children need to be registered for each class to happen.

The July 29, 2024 play date will be held at Dan Kinney Park on Blackman Rd. All other classes and play dates during the summer will be held in Ellen's home studio.
