See What I Saw
Each day at Summer Camp, children will participate in activities in art, music, and drama. Children will be allowed to have open play opportunities, in addition to the group activities. There will be group games and songs, and an afternoon snack will be provided.
This four day summer camp captures the imagination of the young child, immersed in exploration and eager to tell of his/her discoveries. We will go on pretend adventures to the park, imagining what we might see and hear along the way. Children will create, plan, sequence, communicate, predict, participate and evaluate their peers. Expression of self is heightened; yet incorporation of others' perspectives is also encouraged.
Jill Hockemeyer
Jill Hockemeyer is the founder of Joyful Musicians, teaching Kindermusik classes to babies through early elementary school children. Jill has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University. She is the mother of four children, all of whom were enrolled in Kindermusik classes as young children. Jill has spent most of her time raising children and volunteering at their schools, but has also taught preschool classes and computer classes to elementary children.
