Schools out, and it's time for fun in the sun at Harmony Music School with Camp Summer! Come sing, dance, and play theatre games about sand, sun, and catching some waves! Cost for week-long camp is $175 and includes a cast t-shirt.
Oh, the thinks you can think! Let your imagination soar and get ready to sing and dance with your favorite characters from Horton Hears a Who, The Cat in the Hat, and many more! In this camp, we will learn theatre skills through games and activities, learn songs with accompanying dances from Seussical, and make friends that also enjoy music in the Kenosha and Southeast Wisconsin Area. Leah Gawel, instructor for this camp, holds this show near and dear to her heart as she toured an educational production of this show in 2018. Join us as we sing, dance, and have fun! Cost for week-long camp is $150 and includes a cast t-shirt.

With a “vibrant energy” and a passion for knowledge, Milwaukee-based actor Leah Gawel, M.M., received her B.A. in Music Theatre with a minor in Dance from Carthage College. Throughout her collegiate career, she has performed internationally, such as touring with a production of Seussical in China. She was also a member of Carthage Choir, winners of the 2019 Spittal International Choral Festival in Spittal, Austria. Locally, she has been seen in MIRACLE ON 34TH ST: A LIVE RADIO PLAY (Doris) at Forte Theatre Company, and has done understudy work at First Stage Theatre Company in THE LEGEND OF ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS. Leah has worked as a dance instructor both locally and internationally, teaching classes at The Boys and Girls Club in Kenosha, and choreographing at Kwan Kwan Theatre School in Jinan, China. When the pandemic hit, Leah made the courageous decision to go back to Carthage College to get her M.M. in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy. Drawn to the program for its scientific and fact-based curriculum, she specializes in cross training and functional voice training, with a passion of studying the effects of psychological trauma on the voice. We are so excited to have Leah joining our Kindermusik with Emilie team, offering private voice lessons and leading Musical Theatre Camps!
