Did you know that preschoolers have a natural love of music? Level 3 classes use music to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, and self-control. Parents and caregivers join a portion of each class to participate in the music-making.

Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.
Amanda holds a degree in Music Education and makes her living as the Elementary General Music teacher at Hansen Elementary. She came to know Kindermusik as a parent and fell in love with the curriculum, later earning her Kindermusik teacher licensure. She finds great joy in watching her young students grow and develop over the course of weeks, months and years in the studio, and building meaningful relationships with their parents and grandparents. Amanda lives in Waterloo with her partner Vince, their two daughters, Summer and Kathleen, and their two beloved kitties, Erin and Eliza. Amanda can't wait to welcome you into her joyful classroom!
At This Little Light Studio, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures.
