Erica Culbertson

Music has always been an important part of Erica’s life -- from studying piano and voice as a child to using music to teach in a classroom setting. Erica began her music-teaching career while in high school teaching piano lessons to young children. After high school, Erica earned a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Latin American Studies, a M.A. in Early Childhood Education, and an additional thirty hours in TESOL from Furman University. Upon graduation, Erica taught Modified Child Development, Kindergarten, and ESOL. During this time, Erica also sang in college and church choirs, as well as serving as a soloist for numerous church and community events. Erica was first introduced to Kindermusik when her daughter was born. As a new mother, she was looking for opportunities to enrich her child's life, as well as a way to create connections with other families. Kindermusik was the perfect fit! Though the years, Erica has enjoyed Kindermusik classes in multiple states as her family relocated and grew. On her most recent move, she was greatly disappointed to not find a Kindermusik studio in her area. Eventually, she decided to begin her own program. Erica is excited for the opportunity to share her passion for Kindermusik with other families. Erica resides in the metro Atlanta area with her husband and their three daughters.
