Level 2 classes encourage older toddlers to initiate their own ideas, nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development in a playful, exploratory environment.
Music-Everyday opened in May of 2015 and offers private music lessons and group classes for all ages. Kindermusik classes are currently meeting at Central Park in Spring Lake in a large, shaded area. Each family has their own bag of instruments to use during class. Instruments are sanitized after each class. When we are able to meet again indoors, we will meet at Petty's Place in Spring Lake which provides a large space for children to move and play while they learn! If you are interested in a class but don't see it listed on the current schedule, please contact the studio to request a specific class, day or time. Visitors are welcome! Please sign up for a Free Preview Class to receive more information.
According to her mother, Miss Ashley sang from the time she was a baby! Miss Ashley remembers the music played and sung in her childhood home, and the singing in church and school. She found her love for children through babysitting and nannying during high school and college, and decided to pursue a career in teaching music to children. Miss Ashley earned a Bachelor in Music Education at Calvin College. While attending college, she worked as director’s assistant for the Grand Rapids Symphony Prelude Youth Chorus. She was a teacher aide at Breton Downs Elementary, and completed her student-teaching at East Oakview Elementary. She has served as a substitute for home-school music classes and at Ada Christian School. As a Licensed Kindermusik Educator, Miss Ashley provides a comfortable environment for you and your child to strengthen your bond, and begin your child’s journey toward a lifelong love of music and learning.
