Need something for the whole family? Mixed Age classes are designed for little ones at different developmental levels to make music together. Families build connection, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Lindsay Levin, M.A., is a fun-loving, energetic singer and educator with a passion for early childhood music education, an unabashed LOVE for babies and children, and a deep respect for parents and caregivers! Lindsay believes strongly in the Kindermusik curriculum and our parent organization, Kindermusik International, which continually impresses her with its commitment to putting parents and children first and treating all parents, children, caregivers, and educators with integrity and respect. Lindsay served as President of the California Kindermusik Educators'' Association from 2005-2007 and as California State Representative for the Partnership of Kindermusik Educators in 2008. This August, Lindsay was honored to host the San Francisco Kindermusik Conference, which attracted an international crowd of highly committed Kindermusik educators and received rave reviews from those in attendance! We are proud to offer classes at the family-friendly dance studio, Dance Fusion! Classes are held in the tap studio, where the floor is matted for your comfort, and children enjoy the full-length mirror wall as well as the excitement of taking classes in a real performing arts center. Dance Fusion also offers dance classes for Kindermusik graduates. Families from all over the East Bay will find that this studio is easily accessible via Highway 24 and I-680. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Kindermusik experience after attending five classes, we will refund the enrollment portion of your registration fee. Materials are yours to keep and enjoy! The materials portion of your registration is nonrefundable. (Please note that if you are taking classes through a Parks & Recreation Department, all refunds are subject to City approval.)
For your convenience, we allow infant siblings to attend the Family Time classes at this location at no extra charge to you. Any additional visitors should be cleared in advance with the program director.
