Sharon Schroeder-Hatch has been a musician since early childhood -- an experienced pianist, percussionist and singer. She holds a bachelors degree in percussion from California Institute of the Arts and has studied a variety of topics at UW-Washington County and Madison College. She has 30 years experience as a piano teacher, is an exceptional church/worship musician, and has directed choirs, plays and bands, and has an extensive knowledge of music theory. She is the proud mother of John and Faith Hatch who both grew up with music as part of their everyday lives. "My passion in life is children and music. Over the past few years, I have felt compelled to do something different with music and children...the answer was KINDERMUSIK! I am so happy and thrilled to be part of this wonderful educational program that so succinctly focuses on whole-child development through music and movement. I have experienced first hand so many times that music truly matters to a child's mind, body, emotions and sense of well being and that's why I named my business 'Musik Matters'."
