Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.

Jody Wyss-Treadwell holds a B.A. in Music Education and Music Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University and a Masters in Music Education from Butler University. She has 60+ hours toward a PhD. in Music Education. She also is certified in Orff-Schulwerk Levels I and II. Jody is licensed in all levels of Kindermusik and also teaches private piano, voice, guitar and recorder lessons. Kindermusik of Indianapolis is a 2022 recipient of a Top Kindermusik Program. She has taught all levels and all curriculum in the Kindermusik program since 1997. She is the owner of Kindermusik of Indianapolis.
Friedens United Church of Christ is located at 8300 S. Meridian Street (SR 135). The church sits to the west of the large open pond that can be seen from Meridian Street. Enter through the Main Entrance and turn to the left once inside the Narthex. The room will be on your left as you turn to the right down the hall.
