About Barbra Laird Ms. Barbra received her Kindermusik license in 2000 and began teaching in the Washington, DC, area with Kindermusik Maestro Educator Denise Singh. She moved to Durham, NC, in 2001 and has been teaching in a variety of settings including private homes, schools, and churches. Her current teaching locations are Broken Spoke Farm, Blacknall Memorial Church and Grey Stone Preschool & Kindergarten. In every Kindermusik class, you and your child will be welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills.
