Level Description

Kindermusik Foundations

The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.

Developmental Benefits

Movement Control
Different movement activities help babies strengthen their core muscles, which increases their sense of balance and control over movements.
Social Adaptability
Group activities allow babies to experience familiar and unfamiliar social experiences in a safe and secure way.
Listening and Communication Skills
Listening to music and doing vocal play exercises helps develop a baby’s back-and-forth communication skills.
Language and Literacy Development
Introducing spoken sounds and rhythms through songs and rhymes helps support language and literacy development.

About Studio / Teacher

Miss Lindsay

Lindsay Levin, M.A., is a fun-loving, energetic singer and educator with a passion for early childhood music education, an unabashed LOVE for babies and children, and a deep respect for parents and caregivers! Lindsay believes strongly in the Kindermusik curriculum and our parent organization, Kindermusik International, which continually impresses her with its commitment to putting parents and children first and treating all parents, children, caregivers, and educators with integrity and respect. Lindsay served as President of the California Kindermusik Educators'' Association from 2005-2007 and as California State Representative for the Partnership of Kindermusik Educators in 2008. This August, Lindsay was honored to host the San Francisco Kindermusik Conference, which attracted an international crowd of highly committed Kindermusik educators and received rave reviews from those in attendance! KINDERMUSIK WITH MISS LINDSAY & FRIENDS - WALNUT CREEK @ DANCE FUSION: Kindermusik with Miss

We are proud to offer classes at the family-friendly dance studio, Dance Fusion! Classes are held in the tap studio, where the floor is matted for your comfort, and children enjoy the full-length mirror wall as well as the excitement of taking classes in a real performing arts center. Dance Fusion also offers dance classes for Kindermusik graduates. Families from all over the East Bay will find that this studio is easily accessible via Highway 24 and I-680. Previews are welcome at this location, but please schedule ahead of time. You can set up your preview classes by emailing misslindsay76@gmail.com. See you in class!
