Kindermusik Foundations classes provide a special place where you can connect with your baby and other families through music and movement. Each week you'll dance with your baby and share songs, lullabies and nursery rhymes. Joyful musical play stimulates your baby's physical, cognitive, social and emotional development and engages their senses. This semester, come swoosh, vroom and clickety-clack your way through our movement-filled "Zoom Buggy" unit. Then, enjoy the musical world of farm animals with your baby as we explore animal-oriented songs, dances, instruments, books, vocal play, and more in "Cockadoodle-Moo!" This is a parent participation class. No non-enrolled siblings, please. Masks are required for adults.
Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.Registration at https://tinyurl.com/mrxfx7dx begins on January 11 for Pleasanton residents and January 18 for non-residents. Please email the instructor at misslindsay76@gmail.com with any questions.
The Foundations class for babies 0-18 months is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.
