In this 45-minute music and movement class, your child will explore musical sounds Mira might hear in the magical Indian-inspired kingdom of Jalpur, learn about her culture’s traditions, and get all the early childhood developmental benefits of a traditional Kindermusik class. Solve mysteries just like Mira with your own easy-to-craft magnifying glass, get creative with Kindermusik instruments like hand drums and elephant shakers, and continue the fun at home with streamable music!
Rosalind Cross has been touching the lives of children and families through Kindermusik for over 20 years. Ms. Cross served on the faculty of Anderson University where she taught piano and was first introduced to Kindermusik. She did her graduate work in Piano Pedagogy at USC and studied and performed at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Ms. Cross also offers music enrichment to at-risk children and frequently speaks to teacher and parent groups, guest lectures at universities, and has worked in Peru, Jordan, Ethiopia, and with the migrant farmworker community in the US, helping to establish music programs and train staff, and bringing connection and joy through music and movement.
