Each year Kindermusik International and our selfless community of educators team up to bring Kindermusik to children who really need it. Our educators see and hear first hand how important these gifts can be. Here's a glimpse…
"These moms attend class at my studio as a group. They are part of a live-in program and are committed to being better moms. It has been wonderful to see them support each other and observe the things that I encourage in class. I am seeing lives change and hope beginning to shine from their eyes and with their children."
— Kindermusik educator Julie S. "[When the economy collapsed] all extracurricular activities had to be cut to make way for basic necessities. If it weren't for the scholarship so graciously presented to our family, we would not have been able to continue, which is a heartbreaking prospect. The generosity is humbling. … One thing remains certain, we will not stop singing the praises of Kindermusik and one of their best instructors, Miss Cyndi!"
— note from a mom who received a scholarship "All these children were able to take home the home material pack. Boy were they ever looking forward to getting at the train whistles when they went home. Most of these children have speech and language issues and all come from families who need help. One little girl in particular was so shy she hid behind the teacher for the first 10 minutes or so of class. By the end, she was smiling and came up to me to say thank you in sign language. It was priceless."
— Kindermusik educator Barb S. "This mom is so dedicated to her daughter and does whatever she can to make sure her daughter wants for nothing. She has kept her in Kindermusik despite financial strain because she knows how beneficial it is and as she told me, ‘It's our favorite day of the week!'"
— Kindermusik educator Kelly B. "Each so unique with their musical gifts and talents, they will all be continuing their music studies and all LOVE Kindermusik!"
— Kindermusik educator Elizabeth C. "So I just want to thank Kindermusik and Miss Cyndi so very much for allowing and making it a possibility for me to take my daughter to the classes—and have that quality time with her, something I wouldn't be able to do without your help—and the scholarship. Thank you!"
— note from a mom who received a scholarship "I have been blessed to work in a public school for the last several years with special needs children. Each year the number of classes that I work with increases. This year, with the budget getting tighter, having some of the materials provided by the scholarship fund has ensured that more children are served."
